The initiative
Who we are

A group of imaginative friends, we agreed to call this ground-breaking venture: "Huellas Indelebles" [Indelible Traces]
We believe life is an ephemeral dance, a gift worthy of celebration and enjoyment.
We are passionate about writing and reading while appreciating their rewarding effects.
We have joined a volunteer group with a scope of action within the THAM Community. We carry out this vocational activity from the Torrelodones Social Services Centre .

Memorandum
Create your generational legacy
Our seven basic principles are:
-
A space to express your ideas, thoughts and emotions through written language.
-
A means to revive memories, narrate events, and experiences, tell stories, and record experiences.
-
A time to convey messages, write a letter to your former self, and open your diary.
-
An opportunity to stimulate spontaneity, creativity and cognitive flexibility.
-
An exercise to externalize your inner world, to discover and share your hidden talent.
-
A context to create a meeting point for people with similar sensibilities or interests.
-
A gateway for intergenerational communication.
Everyone is free to express themselves as they see fit, based on their resources and convictions, with self-assurance. It should not be a competition between egos or a melancholy contest.

Who supports us?
We want to thank the Department of Culture and the Department of Social Services, within Torrelodones City Council for their participative and enthusiastic collaboration, providing technical and logistical assistance, so this project can see the light of day.
We have started negotiations with those responsible for the THAM Community, to promote the initiative in its geographical area of action.
